PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

We work with milling quality, food grade proso whole millet, which is tiny in size and typically yellowish in color. Millet is easily digestible after removing the hull, but should be added with other strong gluten content flours when baking breads. A versatile grain that can be prepared in porridges, pilafs, cookies, flatbreads, or added to breads and soups. Its versatile texture makes it good for baking goods from crunchy to soft and crumbly. With a mild, subtle, nutty flavor, millet is a good source of protein, dietary fibers, magnesium, copper, and manganese. Millet comes in many varieties and is a synonymous term for a number of grains worldwide.
