 Hard White Spring Wheat

This wheat has a lighter, more golden color than hard red wheat.  It also has a mellower flavor than traditional whole wheat bread because it lacks tannic acid.  If your family is accustomed to white bread, we suggest this wheat to wean them into the whole grain bread world.  Many customers who have a slight intolerance to whole wheat bread find they can eat bread baked from hard white spring wheat.  Again, The high protein and low moisture make this a terrific bread wheat and the color and flavor make it exceptional for tortillas and dinner rolls.
