DESCRIPTION:
Conventional & Organic:  Triple Cleaned Dark Plumb Milling Rye.  Ground into flour it makes an excellent medium Rye bread.  Whole Rye flour bread is much denser than wheat bread.  It is also quite flavorful.  A fifty/fifty mix of rye flour and wheat flour produces a more moist bread than just using whole wheat flour.  Rye has a higher absorption rate than wheat so you may have to add a bit more water to your original recipe.  We also have Rye Flakes, Cracked Rye, Rye Flour and Rye Meal available to our customers.
